6 November 2015 One Comment

If you’re on the hunt for unique gifts, as well as something to help you stand out at the Christmas party this year, pop down to PARADE at No Walls Gallery between 17 and 22 November.

Feathered Fantasy headdresses

The pop-up shop on Church Street (just opposite the Dome) brings together 10 independent designer-makers and vintage traders who met over the summer festival season and have one thing in common – a love for all things vibrant and colourful.

Browse rails of ‘80s and ‘90s vintage and glitter bags, hand-picked and handmade by House of Bricks, “festival themed fun-wear” from BangBangCrash, Miss Goodweather’s waterproof dance-ready dresses, capes and hoodlets and one-off outfits crafted from vintage fabrics by local designer Laura Ralph.

Finish your festival look or treat a friend with Beksies Boutique’s show-stopping bumbags, semi-precious stone pendants from Midnight Deer and bespoke headdresses by Feathered Fantasy and Hapuska.

And pass on the good vibes by sending an illustrated and ethically produced card from analogue illustration company Plum Quake.

The girls behind the brands, who boast “contagious energy and sparkle”, are hosting two special events during the run, with complimentary drinks, music and limited edition goodie-bags on launch night (5pm, Tuesday 17 November) and experiential beauty, free face embellishments and make up and drinks on Friday 20 November. Shoppers will also enjoy a 10% discount across all items on both nights.
