Ed’s Easy Diner to open in Churchill Square

18 June 2014 One Comment

Churchill Square may not be a vintage-lover’s natural habitat, but Ed’s Easy Diner gives Fifties’ fans good reason to visit when it opens in the centre on 1 July.

The chain has over 30 retro eateries across the UK; each decked out with neon signs, Cadillac red vinyl booths and Dime-Selector jukeboxes that collect 20 pence pieces for humanitarian charity Action Against Hunger.

The menu is stuffed with American classics – from  pancakes and waffles for breakfast: through chilli, cheese and barbecue burgers and hotdogs to sundaes and brownies for dessert.

And while sodas and beers offer refreshment, it’s milkshakes that have made the diner famous. Indulge in thick Nutella, butterscotch, peanut butter, Oreo cookie and mint chocolate shakes or add a shot or too of something stronger with dark rum and Baileys.

Reason enough to face the weekend shoppers or will you be sticking to JB’s Diner and Rockola?
