27 September 2012 No Comment

Pin-up girl jewellery, mini bunting, floor-length 70’s maxis, tea on vintage china and some old time piano – all on offer at Shoreham’s Johnny Loves June’s Vintage and Handmade Fair last weekend.  Here, the vintage boutique’s owner Faye Spiller reports:

Johnny Loves June Shoreham vintage & handmade fair

The first event of its kind held in out small coastal town, the sun was shining as Rockin’ Mark Vis serenaded the crowds with his old time piano tunes and his twist on some modern classics and the glamorous Charlotte and Nicola from Dolly DayDream Cakes offered refreshments at the pop-up tea shop.

Our own Johnny Loves June’s vintage and pre-loved attire was on offer with a rail chocker block full of delightful garments and accessories from the 1960s to 1990s. Vintage event planning was covered by Doily Days, Ursula Glitch showcased beautiful crochet creations, Bella Does Brighton their up-cycling talents and Retro Violet vintage-inspired jewellery.

Top sellers on the day were costume jewellery, vintage knitwear, handmade greetings cards, vintage haberdashery, crochet and, of course, cupcakes!
